ASKED QUESTIONS
We provide a towel and a locker. Bring a bathing suit, water bottle (we have a drinking fountain and beverages for sale), slippers, and an extra towel if you'd like.
Please start with a shower before using the amenities! We have two private showers and two public showers outside of the sauna where you can rinse off in between rounds.
There is no right way to sauna but if it's your first time and you need direction we recommend:
1. Starting with the Sauna
Enter the sauna and relax for 5-15 minutes, or until you feel comfortably warmed up. Breathe deeply and focus on relaxing your muscles.
2. Take a Quick Rinse
Rinse off with a quick, cool shower to remove sweat before entering the cold plunge.
3. Cold Plunge
Carefully enter the cold plunge and immerse yourself for 1-3 minutes, or as long as comfortable. Focus on slow, steady breathing to adjust to the cold.
4. Rest
After the cold plunge, rinse off the chlorine and allow your body to warm up naturally. Take a few minutes to rest and breathe.
5. Repeat if Desired
Alternate between the sauna and cold plunge for 2-3 cycles if desired. Listen to your body and take breaks if needed.
6. End with Relaxation
Conclude your session with a few minutes of rest and hydration. It’s essential to drink water throughout to stay hydrated.
Note: Always listen to your body and stay within your comfort limits. Avoid staying in either the sauna or cold plunge for extended periods. We discourage breathing exercises that cause fainting.
There’s no time limit on your stay, but please be mindful of the space and respectful of others. Listen to your body, and avoid overdoing it.
Bathing suits are required when using the amenities. If you would like a cover up, we recommend you bring a wrap or robe. We have shared locker rooms with private bathroom and shower stalls where you can change clothes.
We encourage a friendly, communal atmosphere, so feel free to enjoy conversation with friends, but please keep noise to a respectful level. While it’s not required, we suggest leaving phones in lockers. Refrain from playing music aloud and always ask permission before taking photos of others. We allow adding water to the rocks in the sauna to create steam but be aware of other users (especially those on the top bench - adding water creates steam and can make the sauna feel more hot than it already is). Please shower before using amenities and rinse off in between rounds to help maintain a clean and pleasant space for everyone.
We currently welcome walk-ins! If we begin reaching capacity frequently, we may switch to a reservation system.
Sorry, we don't accept reservations for kids. Guests need to be 16 and over. If under 18 the guest will need their legal guardian to sign the liability waiver with them.
We encourage you to unplug, take a break, and leave your phone in your locker but it is not a requirement. We do ask you to be respectful of others in the space and not take photos with anyone without first getting their permission.
